Please Note: Water Bill payments must be received by the Ozawkie City Clerk on the 27th of each month. Payments received after the 27th of each month will be assessed a late fee of 15%.

BILLING, PAYMENTS AND LATE FEES:

- BILL PAYMENT: We do not accept debit or credit card payments. Check is preferred form of payment. Cash will be accepted. Payments can be made:

- In person at the City Office located at 524 Kiowa Drive
- Drop Box/black mailbox located at 524 Kiowa, across the street from city hall.

- DUE DATE: Utility Bills are sent out monthly at the first part of the month and are due the 27th of each month. Collection of delinquent accounts are processed through the State of Kansas Setoff Program, or placed on assessment property taxes.
- LATE FEES: A 15% late fee will be added to all accounts that are not paid by the 27th day of the billing month. If the account is not brought up to date within 10 days of late notice, the water will be turned off and there will be a $100.00 reconnect fee as well as a $200.00 deposit added to the delinquent account that must be paid before the water is turned back on.

TRASH COLLECTION RATES AND INFORMATION:

- $17.65 per billing period for trash service only. Scroll down for more information on obtaining a trash container (Please have your trash by the road by 8am on Monday morning).

OTHER WASTE DISPOSAL:

- To dispose of hazardous waste products (insecticides, pesticides, paint, motor oil, etc), the County Shop in Oskaloosa may be contacted at (785) 863-2581.
- To dispose of tires, Hamm’s Landfill will accept them for a small fee.
- Please dispose of a yard waste at the City dump site located by the Maintenance Building on Kiowa.
TRASH CONTAINERS:
Residential Containers: Recycling is available in our area and is billed separately by Inland Waste Solutions 785.232.9168.
