Please Note: Water Bill payments must be received by the Ozawkie City Clerk on the 27th of each month. Payments received after the 27th of each month will be assessed a late fee of 15%.

WATER RATES: Residential

$18.00 for 0 – 1,000 gallons
$4.50 per 1,000 gallons 1,001 – 10,000
$7.00 per 1,000 gallons 10,001 and above
Water Surcharge $6.43: included in above rates

WATER RATES: Business, Commercial and Schools

$25.00 for 0-1,000 gallons
$30.50 for 1,001-2,000 gallons
$5.50 per 1,000 gallons 2,001-10,000
$10.00 per 1,000 gallons 10,001 and above

SEWER RATES:

- $71.50 inside city limits
- $91.50 outside city limits
- $71.50 Business
- $117.50 School

BILLING, PAYMENTS AND LATE FEES:

- BILL PAYMENT: Online Payment now available. Check, cash and cards are accepted.Payments can be made:
  - - In person at the City Office located at 524 Kiowa Drive
    - Drop Box/black mailbox located at 524 Kiowa, across the street from city hall.
    - USPS Mail: P.O.Box 120, Ozawkie KS 66070
- DUE DATE: Utility Bills are sent out monthly at the first part of the month and are due the 27th of each month. Collection of delinquent accounts are processed through the State of Kansas Setoff Program, or placed on assessment property taxes.
- LATE FEES: A 15% late fee will be added to all accounts that are not paid by the 27th day of the billing month. If the account is not brought up to date within 10 days of late notice, the water will be turned off and there will be a $100.00 reconnect fee as well as a $200.00 deposit added to the delinquent account that must be paid before the water is turned back on.

CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION OF WATER, SEWER AND TRASH SERVICE:

- For existing homes there will be a $100.00 connection fee.

TRASH COLLECTION RATES AND INFORMATION:

- $18.50 per billing period for trash service only (Collection Day is Monday).
- 1 “Bulk” Item is allowed per month and must be called in prior to collection day. Call 785-232-9168 to schedule pick up or to obtain additional trash containers.

- Yard Waste

- Refuse from Remodeling

- Large Limbs or Tree
- Motors
- Used Antifreeze
- Paint in Liquid Form
- Hazardous Waste
- Refrigerators with Freon
- Air Conditioners with Freon
