The Jefferson County Fire District #7 is a volunteer fire department for Ozawkie Township. Ozawkie Township and Fire Board consists of 3 members. The Fire Chief is James Snyder. The station is located at 524 Kiowa. The station is not manned because it is a volunteer fire department.

ADDRESSES: The fire department can have a difficult time in the dark locating addresses both in the city and in the rural areas of the district. To assist them, the fire department has green address signs with reflective numbers for $10. If you wish to purchase one, please leave a message at 785.876.2200.
EMERGENCY FORM: To assist the fire department in rescue and recovery efforts should our district be hit by a tornado or any other disaster, please complete an Emergency Form and send it to the fire department. Be sure to send an updated form should circumstances change in your household. Send the form to Jefferson County Fire District #7, Attn: Chief James Snyder, PO Box 50, Ozawkie, KS 66070.
VOLUNTEERS: The fire department is always looking for volunteers. We need volunteers to help in the office, maintenance of vehicles, to hand out water at a fire, many other areas and of course to be a firefighter or EMT. If you would like to volunteer, please leave a message at 785.876.2200.
