Streets Commissioner
STREET COMMISSIONER; DUTIES. It shall be the duty of the Street Commissioner to oversee the keeping in repair of all streets, alleys and other public thoroughfares of the city, in the performance of which duties they shall monitor the cleaning and removal of snow and ice from all said streets, alleys and other public thoroughfares. They shall have primary responsibility in the area of:
(1) Annual Budget (for street repair)
(2) Contracts (for street repair)
(a) Bid Letting (for street repair)
(b) Overseeing the Contractor (for street repair)
All proposed bids shall be reviewed and approved by the actions of the full City Council. They shall also perform such other duties as may be required by the City Council.
