Hope all is well with our citizens as we enter into the Fallseason. It’s been a few months since our last correspondence and so much has been happening!
There are positions available on the Planning and Zoning Committee and on City Council if anyone is interested in beinga workingpart of our community.
VOTING: Political signs may be displayed 30 days prior to a scheduled election and may not be more than 3 in number. The sign(s) must be no larger than 3ftx2ft and must be removed within 5 days of the election.
YARD LIGHTS:The sun is setting earlier and earlier….for the safety of all our citizens, make sure your yard light is functioning and has a fresh bulb!
CONTACT INFO: If it has been awhile since you’ve updated your contact info with the City Clerk, please do so. If there was any emergency that you needed notified of, we want to be able to contact you. Call Gailat 785-876-2550 or emailat firstname.lastname@example.org.
UTILITY BILLS are due the last business day of each month by lP.M……the date is always listed on your billing statement.
DOGS: Dogs are to be kept under control by their owners on and off of the owner’s property. Dogs are not to be runningat large or the owner risks beingfined. There are to be no more than 3 dogs at any residence. Excessive barking is also prohibited. Dogs and cats residing in the city limits are to be licensed ($5 for dogs and $4 for cats) and must show proof of vaccinations. We love our pets,but not everyone does….be courteous to your neighbors and a responsible pet owner!
